Our newest addition

My family is going to think I am crazy because we now have 4 dogs. 2 Chihuahuas, Yorkie, and now a Pit. I know Pit bulls have really bad rep but it really depends on how you raise them. Yoshi is really friendly, playful, and loves people. Does he look more like a lab then a pit?







Isnt it funny how a dog can change someone dramatically. My husband no longer addicted to World of Warcraft and wakes up early every morning to take Yoshi out for a walk.

The Carrie Diaries

Over the weekend, I bought Candace Bushnell's new book The Carrie Diaries. I love the Sex and the City series so I think I will really enjoy this book. The book will chronicle her high school senior year..so it is before her Manhattan life and her Manolos. Any one read it and do you like it?

After finishing this book I am looking forward to read Candace Bushnell other books as well. I was looking at Elle Decor website and saw that they featured Candace's home a while back. Her house is so beautiful!

My weekend

Hope everyone had a great weekend. It was super hot and humid in Virginia Beach. On Friday night I actually went out to a bar, and it has been forever since I last left the 3 dogs (actually now 4 dogs ugh) and the hubby behind. It might be just me, but after getting married, going out and getting pretty up is like a treat!! Just want to share my weekend outfits. I charged my camera just before going out but forgot it at home, didn't get to take any pix of the pretty people at the bar.

I absolutely love this dress, it was given to me by a friend. ( Thanks Michelle! Let me know if you want to borrow it ;)

As much as I love my dogs and hubby, it's was nice to get out and enjoy without them.

Feeling calm...and blue

I tend to change my bedspread and sheets out every few weeks, just so it feels like a brand new room each time. This week I have been a bit stressed so I choose a light blue duvet to go with my mood. I love the soft blue and brown colors in the duvet. The pillows are actually from another duvet set (from ikea) that I bought while in college about 5 years ago. The room now look calm and relaxing.

8k RunWalk For The Kids

Over the weekend, my husband and I took part of the 5th Annual CHKD RunWalk for the kids in Norfolk, Virginia. There were more then 3,500 participants and it was a great feeling to be part of. A month ago I didn't think I could run a mile and the though of running 5 miles was insane but I am proud to say, thanks to my wonderful running partner, Diane, we made it under 1 hour and beat my husband's score!

Newest Obession

My newest obsession is the Body Butter from Bath and Body Works Your skin feels so soft and the container will last for a really long time too! I'm not a big fan of their regular lotion since months down the road, it's kinda runny. Right now they are having their big sale, so I went a little overboard. I bought 6 of them! My favorite scent right now is the Japanese Cherry Blossom and Black Amethyst.

Has anyone seen the new SATC 2 yet? To me it was good but it was not excellent. The first one was a lot better and very emotional( especially when Carrie got out of the Limo and yelled at Big *gasp! ) and the sequel was pretty much all about fashion with very weak story line. One thing did stood out to me while watching SATC 2 was Carrie's new place. It is gorgeous! See for yourself:

Beach dude

Couple of years ago, I went to CB2 in NYC and fell in love with the store. Too bad they don't have one near Virginia Beach. I was browsing through their website and saw these cute plates on sale for only $1.95 each. If only I was closer, I would probably get a few for summer dinners.
