Baby Nursery

Here is a lil baby mood board that I put together for the nursery. I found the perfect pattern for the curtains and we finally found our crib! Instead of the polka dots, were thinking of getting the hippo set design from target. I have already designed the 2 owls and will be putting her name on top of the owls once we pick out a cute name for her. Cant wait to get started on the room. It is a huge mess at the moment and need to clean/organize is asap..maybe this weekend!!!

Just found out today that my brother is also having a baby girl..his wife is due March 9th and I will be due March 12!!! 3 days apart!

Everyone did so well at guessing whether we are having a boy or girl. 77% said were having a baby girl and 19% said boy :D and the result is}::









We are so excited for to meet our baby girl this March, next step is picking a name for her!

Last Friday, my husband and I found out the sex of our baby and we are sooo excited!!! Just for fun..can you guess the sex of the baby by looking at the ultrasound pix? honestly I still had to ask my husband after the appointment where the heck is the baby's butt on the first image!!! :D


and our baby's full body..we got to hear the heartbeat!!


After finding out the sex our baby, we did a lil trip up to Northern Virginia with some friends

Being 18 weeks pregnant I am constantly hungry. I eat about 5 times a day! ^_^ but I have to watch what I eat which is really difficult for me. Last night I made some shrimp and scallop vegetable delight with white sauce. It was my first time making it and it turned out pretty yummy.



I also made sweet and spicy pork.

As for desert, my all time favorite exotic fruit Chom-Chom (Rambutan) I can seriously eat this all day..wish it wasnt so expensive though!



I should put the recipe up but I am seriously not good at writing it. When I cook, I don't really measure either and just put whatever that is available at the time. :D

Owls Download for Free

I designed a pair of owls after I found out that I was pregnant. Since we do not know if it's a boy or girl yet, I made one pink and blue. I think after finding out the sex next Friday (yay) I will prob tweak it a bit. I thought I share the pdf with anyone who is interested in downloading..as long as you give credit back to this blog..

Goodbye September, Hello October!

September will always hold a special place in my heart. My husband and I both celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary and also our 7th year of knowing each other..on top of that, both of our birthdays are in September too! This September we shared the news to our friends that we will adding a bundle of joy this coming spring but then had to let go of our pitlab, Yoshi. It was such hard decision for my husband and I, but we know he is with a great people who will love him.

For my birthday my husband got me new lens for my Canon DSLR camera!! I absolutely love it so far because now I can take more pictures and create more memories for the upcoming days, months, years.
