Simply Orange Mango Banana Smoothie Recipe

Image
Really easy and simple mango banana smoothie recipe that Kaylee and I have been enjoying lately. I recently found out Kaylee's favorite fruit at the moment is mango so I made this smoothie really quick the other day and she can not get enough of it! Simply perfect drink for this spring. You just need:  1 mango 1 banana 1/2 cup of Simply Orange with Mango { add more if dont like it as thick } Ice Blend it all together ;) Target bunny sippy cups, the cutest thing ever! (thank you Auntie Michelle!)

13 Months and Birthday Recap

Image
I can't believe it has been already a month since her 1st birthday party. Kaylee took her first few steps on the other day while facetiming with her aunties so I think she's going to be walking in couple more weeks! yay! high five! She graduated from her rocking chair and mommy will be documenting her second year in the big girl chair in her nursery. Looks like she does not mind the new change at all, looking super duper happy. Recap from her birthday party! We took so many photos that it took forever to sort through them. Here are the highlights! We put couple items in a plate so we can see what she may be interested in. Each item represents a profession. She picked up a book and then a pencil after, meaning she'll be a scholar when she's older. She received many wonderful gifts from friends and family! She had a good time opening up the gift wraps and was more interested in the wrapping paper then the gifts! :D View more photos of the decor here !

Tram + Matt's Anniversary Session

Image
I hope you had a beautiful weekend and did not get fooled on April Fool's Day ;) I had the privilege over the weekend to photograph our sweetest dear friends, Matt and Tram's anniversary. Beautiful sunny day spring day except for the cold chilly wind later in the afternoon. They were so natural (even Charlie the doggie) in front of the camera. Hope you guys enjoy the photos!

Unforgettable Moments

Image
Sometimes a mother can feel that the routines in her day are too repetitive. dishes, laundry, meals, diapers, and messes to clean seem to be the order of the day, every day. we may feel discouraged by this. yet, these routines bring great comfort, stability and security to the family. not only that, but each new day brings grand new adventures! new memories to build, new chances to love and nurture, and new opportunites abound, as we create loving atmospheres for our families. the precious moments are lived out right alongside those regular routines. every day brings with it the joyful anticipation of surprises, blessings, unforgettable moments, and the increase of love. enjoy the adventurous life in your home today.” ~m. kauenhofen  Came across this quote on Arielle's blog and I can really connect to this. It's a reminder that we shouldn't get caught up on the daily routine but enjoy each day, since each day does bring out new adventures and hope.   Kaylee and I ha

The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years."   ~ Audrey Hepburn Saw The Hunger Games over the weekend. Told myself to wait until few more weeks until all the hype to die down but this girl couldn't help it. I finished the book on Saturday and saw the movie that night. I really enjoyed the movie! It did meet my expectations and knew that they won't be able to fully put every single detail from the book into the movie. Catching Fire, you are in my next book to read! What are your thoughts on the book and movie?
