Starting tomorrow, I am officially on a vacation!!! Husband and I ( I still feel weird calling him husband!) will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary in Vegas. Our Anniversary is not until the 12th but were celebrating a little early. Last year we went to Jamaica and stayed at Sandal Resort and it was fabulous except the second day we got there, he got extremely sick so he didnt get to enjoy much of it. We are also going with some of our friends so it should be fun. On the list is Ka and O Cirque De Soleil!! I am having a hard time packing for Vegas since I want to bring everything! I woke up yesterday and guess who I saw in my luggage:: Miko sleeping -_- Acting all innocent I hope all my readers will have a fabulous week, I am bringing my DSLR camera with me to Vegas so I will share some pictures when I am back. Last year, my friend Brian did a lil fun video of us to show at our wedding because our wedding was in South Dakota and we wanted to show our friends/family ...

It has been months since the last time I bought a new duvet set. The last one I bought was from Hautelook and I was extremely disappointed since the fabric was cheap and rough..not to mention spending almost a $100 on it too. I went to TJ Max over the weekend to return some stuff and found a king size lilac duvet set for only $16.99!! I was super excited because it's extremely soft and super affordable. Came home and put it straight to the washer/dryer and ta da! As I was putting the duvet set together, it hit me that I don't have any other pillows to go with it because I tend to buy only blue/green pillows. So all I have is my Hello Kitty pillow :D I'm pretty excited our lamp matches our set! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Last week I entered for the CB2 Contest. Thank you so so much for those who voted for me *blush* for those who would like to vote for me, you can do so by clicking here . I was looking through their website and fell in love with pretty much everything on their site. It's too bad they don't have a CB2 store here in Virginia, I'll just have to make sure to stop by a store when I'm in NYC. CB2 is a modern and contemporary home decor store from Crate and Barrel that first opened in Chicago in 2000. I am so glad it is Friday, today we are going to this seafood restaurant that is right by the beach for my friend's birthday dinner. We have been going out to eat a lot so this may be the last meal out for awhile. I need to start cooking again. This weekend we are also celebrating Coco and Miko's birthday (our dogs) Coco is turning 2 and Miko is turning 4. This is the first night got her, she was so tiny and wearing Miko's old hoodie Miko couple years back at our old apt looking like a model in his polo shirt :D We have 4 dogs and my parents think that we are crazy! well I do too, never thought I would have this many dogs but we love them like they are our kids. I need a huge favor from you guys! Yesterday I got an email from CB2 saying that they are having a contest on a creative space, so I entered it for fun. Well as I was looking at the prizes today, I am so blown away by them. 1 Winner will get $10,000 in CB2 merchandise, a private photo shoot with Todd Selby to be featured on his blog, theselby.com, and a signed print from the shoot. It has been awhile since my husband and I went out together. Were not really the clubbing type couple, but more of stay home with dogs and watching some action or comedy movie. It is nice to get out of the house once in awhile, and getting dressed up. Last week, all I had in the fridge was cabbage and shrimp so I made a really quick meal. With preparing and cooking, it took me about 30 minutes to cook. My husband took Yoshi (the dog) out for a walk and I told him that food would be on a table by the time his walk is over, and here it is. Buttery Shrimp and cabbage. Hope everyone had a great weekend !

Simply Bloom Photography! I came across their blog the other day and I couldnt stop looking through all the beautiful pictures. I love the simplicity but yet modern feel of the their website/blog and also all the vintage wedding photography. Back in spring time, I made the biggest mistake of cutting my hair...let just say do not let someone touch your hair when she/he is sad and depressed! My friend did a really good job the first time around, but the second time was a complete fail! I have been putting up my hair for work for months now, bc I hate having it down. I seriously look like a boy!!! Here is me with my long hair: Short hair :( :( 4 months later, with help of extensions: It feels weird having it on, but hopefully I'll get use to it.

I have been little sick lately so I haven't been a great wife..meaning tons of laundry and going out to eat. I did about 4 loads the other day..but luckily my dog was kind enough to help :) I looked back and saw Miko made himself at home on top of laundry. Gotta grab the camera too! Last night my brother-in-law and his kids came into town so I made some soup and pork for dinner. I was going to take a picture of the soup but then forgot. Oops! I don't really like to cook for myself, but I enjoy cooking for others. It's a great feeling to know that they are satisfied with full tummy =) I always wonder how often do people cook at home? I try to cook at least 4 times a week, and what do you usually cook? I don't know how to bake and I normally just cook Vietnamese Cuisine

Finally I know how to make fabric Pom Poms! they are super easy and I found the DIY on Once Wed. I am for sure making these for our next party! Wish I had found these last September when we got married . You will need Fabric, scissors, hot glue gun, and small paper laterns Step 4: Press the bottom of the folded circle with the hot glue onto the chinese lantern. Step 5: Repeat these steps until the whole lantern is covered. Once finished, attached some fabric to the metal frame of the lantern to hang. Step 1: Cut circles out of fabric. Step 2: Fold the circle in half and put a little hot glue on the center, then fold over to secure.
