Kaylee Weekly Photos

Image
I have been taking pictures of Kaylee weekly to see her growing process until she's a year. You probably think, why is she taking so many pictures of her baby girl, well here is the backstory: I don't even know what I look like when I was a baby. I have 1 photo of me but the quality is so bad that you cant really tell who I look like and no I am not adopted :D I was born in Vietnam and a lot of my baby pictures were lost during the Vietnam War..so as a mother, I know they grow up so fast and I want to be able to capture that each week and for her to look back when she's older. Here are some photos from her photoshoot with DCPG Photography when she was 10 days old. You can see more from the photoshoot and behind the scene photos here This one is still my favorite with her our expedit bookshelve Here is week 6 , week 5 , week 4 , week 3 , week 2 , week 1

Back to work, back to reality

The 6 weeks that I got to stay home and spend time with Kaylee was so precious. The bonding between mother and child is very surreal and the special feeling that there's nothing more important them this precious life that you are holding in your arms. Now that I am back at work, I'm glad that Lee is spending more time with her during the day, enjoying and breathing in fatherhood. The 6 weeks staying home, I had my hair up everyday, no makeup, in sweats all day long and probably spilled milk everywhere on my body, so it was nice to put down my hair, put on the necklace that I made, and wore a dress today for work. Happy Tuesday! Hope you are having a good start of the week. It is 80 degrees where I am at right now:) Dont forget to enter for the Totally Rad Giveaway for Photoshop lovers!

{ Swarovski Necklaces + Butterfly Kisses }

So it's Friday!! and honestly for once I'm actually not excited that it's going to be the weekend/the reason is because starting Monday I would have to leave Baby Kaylee and go back to work..back to my 7-4 shift at the office. I am excited to see all my sweet coworkers and have an actual conversation with an adult rather then do baby talk all day but it's going to so tough to leave her. 6 Weeks of maternity leave is not long enough, I need to figure out how to get rich fast so I can be a stay at home mom :D Here is Kaylee week 6 photos! indeed she is growing fast. So lately I have been getting interested in jewelry making, I been wanting to buy a heart Swarovski necklaces that I have been eyeing everywhere on blogs and etsy..so I thought, why not make one..or two! The bonding between a father and his child is priceless and precious to me. As Lee was playing with Kaylee, I had to capture the moment of them together. My favorite part is at min 1:23 when

Totally Rad Action Giveaway! } before and after pic tutorial

If you haven't heard of Totally Rad Action , boy are you missing out! I can't live without it nor can my photos. I am giving away to a lucky reader a $300 worth of Totally Rad Actions!!! Look at what you can do to your images! Images courtesy of Totally Rad Here is a tutorial I did on my photos using the actions: note: it will not work with photoshop elements You need to place your new actions in action preset in your photoshop folder. To install your action, click here to figure out how. After you did all of that, go to window and open up your actions if it's not already showing. Although Kaylee already has nice baby skin, I still like to do a little skin retouch on her face by using the Pro Retouch. After done touching up on the face, I like to add some light around her face and body. You can click on the Yin/Yang actions for this. After brighten up the picture, I like to add Lux actions to give that soft vintage look. That'
