The beautiful birthday girl We finished 4 bottles! (there were 7 of us) we were super happy right after! Lookbook:: Scarf: Urban Outfitters Pants: JCrew : Bag: MK Happy Monday!! Over this past weekend, I drove up to DC and celebrated my friend’s birthday. Hubby was so sweet and took care of Kaylee while this momma went on a mini vaca. We went to a cute little winery called Bull Run in Centerville, VA. The weather was absolutely beautiful and had light breezes throughout the day. We wine tasted and then ordered a few of bottles of wine to sip on while we were soaking up some sun. I had such a great time, a little bit too much fun since I was a bit tipsy after just 2 glasses! I am definitely a lightweight and a very inexperienced wine drinker! Have you been to a winery? It was my first time and I definitely want to go back again! It's always a nice little surprise when I get to see her during work hours, Kaylee joined me for lunch last Friday. Love her polka dots dress from her Auntie Michelle The weekend was filled with happy times and good company. I love talking a little stroll along the boardwalk now that it's not as humid. We hardly ever go to the beach even though we live 20 minutes away. Trying to enjoy ever last drop of summer before we welcome my favorite season, Fall! I have been on a reading steak lately, I finish Sophie Kinsella new book " I've Got Your Number " over the weekend and really enjoyed it! It's funny, witty and romantic:) Have you read any good books..any recommendations? Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Homemade Almond Macrons my friend made, I helped ;) It was delish! I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled on Wednesday so I didn't feel like doing anything out of the ordinary over the weekend. We spent our Sunday enjoying the beautiful warm weather at our friend's house. Our weekend was simply filled with soaking up in the sun at the beach, park, and enjoying each others company. I spent all day yesterday getting ready for spring, did some major cleaning and it feels great to be able to see clean carpet again! With three dogs and a baby crawler, we have to steam vacuum our house all the time and it's so much work dragging that streamer around!  My in between snack while cleaning, strawberries dipped with Nutella, way way better then chocolate, i promise! Not looking glamorous but we took our babies out for a walk right after cleaning so I didn't feel like changing. She is loving the new stroller we got her for the summer, mostly because she thinks she is walking the dogs :D.  Pretty flowers on our walk. Hope you had a wonderful weekend! So glad to be able to have a nice clean house now! Did you guys do any spring cleaning?

What a fun and also eventful weekend we had!!! Our sweet sunshine turned 1 last week! Thank you everyone who say happy birthday to her. You guys are the sweetest! I took over 900 photos over the weekend! Yes 900! yikes! I can not wait to share photos from her party, it was simply fabulous! 2 months of planning, totally all worth all the smiles and laugher in return from her! Daddy putting decor up for party last pix of her is just too funny :D Once in awhile you meet someone that make your life just a bit sweeter and willing to help you out whenever they can, these two are truly amazing people. They flew in all the way from Minneapolis to be with us on Kaylee's special day and to hang out with us. Oh yeah, our friend is also an amazing chef too! He was Kaylee's chef on Saturday! Stay tuned for Kaylee's party pictures, our newborn photography DCPG came and took photos for us while this momma was running around. Will share pictures this week!

Awesome way to start out the new year with our friends, 2012 Kiss to our baby girl, yummy homemade delish spicy beef soup{bun bo hue} for this cold weather and fried banana ice cream!! Kaylee also turned 10 Months over the weekend and she is still the cutest, most lovable little girl ever. Always laughing and smiling with her big brown eyes. We had Monday off so Baby and I spent the day cleaning, watch Sesame Street and putting down the Christmas decorations. { I always get sad when putting the Christmas Decor away } I hope your New Year was wonderful and memorable. 2011 was a great year and can not wait to see what 2012 has in store for us.
