The beautiful birthday girl
Happy Monday!! Over this past weekend, I drove up to DC and celebrated my friend’s birthday. Hubby was so sweet and took care of Kaylee while this momma went on a mini vaca. We went to a cute little winery called Bull Run in Centerville, VA. The weather was absolutely beautiful and had light breezes throughout the day. We wine tasted and then ordered a few of bottles of wine to sip on while we were soaking up some sun. I had such a great time, a little bit too much fun since I was a bit tipsy after just 2 glasses! I am definitely a lightweight and a very inexperienced wine drinker!
Have you been to a winery? It was my first time and I definitely want to go back again! I am really busy with different projects here and there which keeps me behind on blogging. Thanks for visiting and allowing me to share my weekend with you. Have a great week!

All the fun totally reflect in these phots. Girl friends, wine, beautiful winery - how fun. I have never been to one simply because i am not a wine drinker but it woukd be neat to visit for some scenic trip.
I don't drink but I always feel like there's something sophisticated about wine.....throw in girlfriends and it's a fun girls day out!

Lovely vintage-y photos. Glad you got to visit and celebrate with your friends! I've been to a winery once and since I'm not an alcohol drinker, I consumed WAY too much wine and immediately passed out once I got in the car. Quite funny since it was the first birthday celebration with my now-husband. It was like our 4th date or something ;)
