For The Love of Mint..Home

Mint is such a hot color this spring for fashion but I find that even with home design, a splash of mint can really make a statement. Once in awhile I love looking at home decor design stuff to be inspired.  I simply love modern, fresh and clean design of these photos. Mint is so refreshing and easy on the eye that I can definitely see me using it on our next home design.

Lookbook: Coral and White Chiffon Blouse

Transparent crêped chiffon with lace collar blouse from HM Conscious collection. The details of the lace is so pretty, so soft and romantic. Paring it with the most comfortable shoes by Etienne Aigner. Ran errands over the weekend with them on with hubby with no complaints, perfect color for summer too. 

In few months I will be wearing braces, yes those ugly metal braces (not invisalign unfortunately) that you see a teenage wearing. I'll will be 30 this September and I will look and feel so uncomfortable, weird and awkward, it will very interesting posing for lookbook too :/

Kaylee took 10 steps yesterday! woo-hoo!

Pretty Up a Tray DIY

I have been eying these West Elm Square Lacquer Trays for some time now but sad that we don't have a West Elm nearby. Oh the possibilities on decorating with these trays are simply endless!

I was really excited when I scored this similar tray at Target for just $2.50! I thought it would be fun to dress it up with some leftover cabinet paper from our bookcase DIY.DIY inspired by Michaela's blog

Glimpses of our weekend

Homemade Almond Macrons my friend made, I helped ;) It was delish!

I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled on Wednesday so I didn't feel like doing anything out of the ordinary over the weekend. We spent our Sunday enjoying the beautiful warm weather at our friend's house. Our weekend was simply filled with soaking up in the sun at the beach, park, and enjoying each others company. Thank you for letting me share our little weekend, hope you had a beautiful weekend also.

Every since I came across these photos from pinterest couple months ago, I have been searching for the perfect shade of mint jeans. I found a pair on Jcrew for $125 and Bebe for $98 which is little too much for my pocket, so I kept looking...

My search was over last week when I found them at HM Spring Collection. It has the perfect mint shade and I am so obsessed with them. It was really love at first sight ;) Not bad for only $25! They run pretty small too, I am wearing a size 8!
