Flowers from our friend's garden, aren't they beautiful? They were suppose to be for her wedding but it didn't bloom until last week and her wedding was back in July! I believe they are dahlias flowers. Stocking up on Fall clothing for baby K. Our friends and family has been so kind in gifting K with all beautiful clothes, this was our first clothing shopping for K! This chair was in the master bedroom but we had to transfer it into the nursery so K can see us if she in the crib. Plus we have been spending so much time in the nursery it's nice to have a comfy chair in there. She absolutely love these 3 little doggies! When she is able to walk, I can see her chasing them around the house! Thanks for visiting and hope you have a great weekend! It has been little chilly here but I love it! 60s and 70s is simply perfection!

Fall Cleaning

Image
It's so nice to finally clean our house . Before we had Kaylee, I made our bed everyday and try to keep the room organized. Now with having an infant, that is just impossible to do. Over the weekend we had our carpet professionally cleaned and had to rearranged the furniture around so Kaylee have room to craw. Feels great to come home to nice and clean home for once! I will be sharing an update on the nursery and our living room next week! How often do you make your bed and clean your house? I made Kaylee a baby book and it finally arrived yesterday! I have so many photos of her so I thought it would be great to make a baby book of her for the first 6 months. I will be doing another book from 7 months to 1 year. We're planning on having our close friends and family write a message for Kaylee in the back too! Made the book through Blurb.com, if you like to view the full book, you can view it on here . Thanks for visiting-tomorrow is Friday! yah!

Keeping it simple

With my jewelry that is. I love my ring holder. gift from a friend A floral bowl from my kitchen I spent my whole Sunday doing laundry, cleaning and organizing. I have been meaning to organize my jewelry for quite some time now but never got around it. Putting away the ones that I don't normally wear into boxes and leaving out the ones I wear the most for work or going out. How do you organize your jewelry? I just hope I keep it this clean from now on. This is how I organize my makeup ..but it doesnt look like this anymore :(

{ Happy Lunar New Year }

Happy new year to those who does celebrate the lunar new year! They say that it is very unlucky to sweep the floor during the first five days of the new year since you might be sweeping your good luck and also wealth away. So make sure to sit back and relax today! I'm guessing don't vacuum too since that will suck all your money away! :D Some families usually don't use knives and scissors so that you don't cut the thread of good luck in the upcoming new year! I'm not sure if I do believe in all the superstitions but it's fun to read.  Here are some other superstitions I found online, which I thought was very interesting: On New Year's Day, we are not suppose to wash our hair because it would mean we would have washed away good luck for the New Year. Red clothing is preferred during this festive occasion. Red is considered a bright, happy color, sure to bring the wearer a sunny and bright future. It is believed that appearance and attitude during New Ye

:{ Fun decor projects }:

Image
Only 20 more days until Christmas!!!!! Christmas is my favorite time of the year so I like to get into the spirit by decorating the house with cute lil fun christmas decor. I took some small unwanted boxes and a book and wrapped it up for a for a nice lil touch for our expedit bookcase. {after: I can save it for next year for decor too!} {sitting nicely on the bookcase} I got some artificial berries to add a pop of colors to the gold branches Our entry way with a pop of green ornaments I went to Michaels over the weekend and got some create your own ornaments too. These were extremely fun to decorate and pretty easy too! Michaels is having 50% on most of their Christmas Decor so it was also a cheap lil project. I cant wait for our baby girl to be born so she can join me with all these fun projects during the holidays!! Oh and lil baby updates: We ordered our stroller and our dogs thinks that it's theirs. Miko (chihuahua) jumped on it like it was for him
