It has been extremely hot and humid here in Virginia Beach..I think it's going to be in the 90s today! yikes! I wore a floaty skirt with a silk floral blouse to keep me cool and paired it with gold sandals. Love my flower hairpins from missy Sandy! Sandy sent these over to me after I had Kaylee, so sweet! Lately all I have been wearing to work is comfortable clothes..once in awhile I like to dress up and try to look important professional. I know honeysuckle is the 2011 color but so far I really like yellow. They should name yellow or mustard color for 2012 so I am all prepared..just saying.. On another subject I am saying farewell to my Canon xsi and hello MR. Canon T3i. I absolutely love my xsi but recently I have been videotaping Kaylee a lot and my xsi doesn't come with a camcorder. Been hinting the T3i to hubby for awhile and he finally got it for me for Mother's day. T3i is very similar to the Canon 60D but a little bit cheaper, Cant wait to test this toy out! You know I will be taking a lot of pix of Kaylee with this bad boy Have a great Monday!

The 6 weeks that I got to stay home and spend time with Kaylee was so precious. The bonding between mother and child is very surreal and the special feeling that there's nothing more important them this precious life that you are holding in your arms. Now that I am back at work, I'm glad that Lee is spending more time with her during the day, enjoying and breathing in fatherhood. The 6 weeks staying home, I had my hair up everyday, no makeup, in sweats all day long and probably spilled milk everywhere on my body, so it was nice to put down my hair, put on the necklace that I made, and wore a dress today for work. Hope everyone had a great weekend. It was super hot and humid in Virginia Beach. On Friday night I actually went out to a bar, and it has been forever since I last left the 3 dogs (actually now 4 dogs ugh) and the hubby behind. It might be just me, but after getting married, going out and getting pretty up is like a treat!! Just want to share my weekend outfits. I charged my camera just before going out but forgot it at home, didn't get to take any pix of the pretty people at the bar. I absolutely love this dress, it was given to me by a friend. ( Thanks Michelle! Let me know if you want to borrow it ;) I bought this skirt awhile back but never got the chance to wear. I love the details on the white tank As much as I love my dogs and hubby, it's was nice to get out and enjoy without them.
