My Little Lamb

Remember this post where I was talking about putting Kaylee in her crib so mommy can have some rest at night? well she's 7 Months and 2 weeks and still sleeping on our bed. Maybe we are not as strict on her since she is our first child but I literary run to her every time she cry when she in the crib. During the day, Hubby have to sleep on the floor next to the crib just so she can see him and she'll be fine. :/ ahh the mistake of putting her on our bed since we brought her home from the hospital.

I bought the little lamb hat at Target for just $10! they have really cute baby hats there! She's going to be needing it when we travel back to midwest next month. It's cold there!

Hope you have a great weekend!

  1. Seriously, cutest baby, EVER! Great pictures. You'll need to find her a Hello Kitty hat. ;)

  2. I think I need to make a trip to Target! I am always looking for hats for my little guy. I love how you put the little flower on the lamb's ear.

And the picture of Kaylee puckering her lips - CUTE!

  4. Oh my god, I die!! She is the cutest little lamb (next to my little one..hehe). Those lips and her facial expressions.

You know Yvonne, you may not agree with me. I think we first time moms try and follow what people say are best for our children. I used to be someone who pretty much raised my baby according to the book and the experts, which eventually I felt many things were not suitable or right for me and my wee one. I have never been a fan of "letting my baby cry or scream on top of her lung to sleep" because it broke my heart while my husband and other people said she would be fine. I tried it twice and regretted it up to these days. I knew it was not for me. I am slowly learning everyday that I should do what feel "right" for me and my child. Some habits of course need to break, with time it will happen. One day she will eventually learn to sleep in her crib and you will miss having her on the bed ;)

  7. Kaylee is so so so precious. I love it when she did that O-lips. How did you even manage to capture all these?

Seems like she would need some time to adjust to the crib but once she does it, you and your hubby would have a much better time. I hope she adjust to it soon!

  9. I have 1 colleague who let her kids sleep in their bed and now he is 3...he is still there. My other colleague never allowed it...so I guess the habit is hard to break. Hopefully she'll be sleeping in her own crib soon, and I love her hat and the flower in her hair!

  11. Yvonne, I swear you and your husband have the greatest genes, every time i see these monthly pics I just swoon, they are so cute- I especially love the one where her mouth is open, like she's saying 'ooh'. And, don't worry about the co-sleeping, i did it with my first child and LOVED every moment of it. He was almost 3 and a half before sleeping in his own bed (perfect transition for when his little brother was born). The second one we never brought into bed and he's been in the crib since day one. But honestly, there is nothing more awesome then getting kicked in the face by your kid in the middle of the night, I actually loved it! And, what 10 year old do you know still sleeps with their parents? Just enjoy the time that she's in bed with you now :)

  22. Oh adorable, Kaylee!! She is just too precious. Not to worry, Yvonne my daughter is two and she sleeps in our bed even though she has her own to sleep in. But for right now it is some what hard for us since we are still living with Justin's parents. I hoping next year in our own house that she will sleep in her own room. Crossing fingers for that day to come.
