1st Birthday Party { The Decor and Food } part I

You Are My Sunshine Yellow Turquoise Theme Party

{ :: Above photos courtesy of DCPG Photography :: They did uhhh mazing job, wait till you see Kaylee's photoshoot pictures, will post behind the scene soon!}

Our friend carved this watermelon into a cute little teapot, Love the K in the middle! She also craved a stroller for our baby shower here too!
I did not have to cook a single dish! Our friend from Minneapolis came and became a chef for the day so mommy can play host.
Thanks Nhi for taking time and making this yummy papaya salad for us to enjoy!

Cake stand look familiar? Here is the diy We had a total of 4 cakes total!! Holy sweetness!

These letters were printed on regular paper and glued to Martha Stewart card stock paper.  (thank you  Lester for this photo!

I designed all labels, posters and Kaylee's invites. Invites were printed online and everything else from a local printer.

Sneak peek from Kaylee's photoshoot from DCPG! Our newborn photographer came just before the party and took some beautiful photos of our sunshine. Will share photos soon.

2 Months of planning for our sweet baby first birthday.
Everything turned out perfect and so beautifully.  I had so much fun designing all the labels, my friend and I made the pompoms and husband and I put together the bunting. I ordered the straws on etsy and the straw holders were reuse Starbucks glass. Yellow chevron as a backdrop was from fabric.com.

Thanks for stopping by, will share part 2 and 3 soon!

  13. My friend from Bravoe Runway is right, your preparation really paid off! And Kaylee is so cute--but her coolest feature is that you can already see in her eyes that she's thinking. I'm betting she's a very bright little girl.
