Corners Of Our Home

I have a minor confession to make, I tend to organize my house if I know I am going to take photos for my blog. I need to do this more often so I am more motivated to clean up! Another confession is that I am a horrible gardener! Let see how long our basil and our mint plants will survive.

I hope you are having a great week so far. Busy week for me and I am so glad that we are halfway through the week!

Your space is so warm and comforting to look at. I would love to live in it as well ;) Everything looks fun (especially the jars of colourful candy!).

I wish I had the patience with plants - they're definitely beautiful to look at but I can guarantee that they won't live for longer than two days in my house :P

One of the tricks for Basil is to keep clipping the flowers off. Once basil flowers, the taste degrades and the leaves shrink giving it a 'less lively' appearance and aroma.

Your home is beautiful. I love the candy jar idea. I might have to borrow it since I have a few apothecary jars I got as a wedding gift which hasn't been used yet.

I love your collection of candy. I can't find myself keeping a candy collection, I tend to gobble them up in an instant!

LOL that's a great motivation! Your home is beautiful! I never tidy up for blog photos, but then again, I always have clutter in the background ;0. Happy Wed!!!

Well Yvonne -- I am no different but we tend to clean up before we have people over. Our house seriously is a mess and beyond repair. Your corner and home always look cozy and inviting.

I love having access to fresh herb, yours look good and striving. You make me want to start gardening this summer. I used to grow okra, squash, tomatoes and somea herbs before I got pregnant but never have time nor motivation to start again after that.

Your house is so beautiful! Is that a fake orchid with the bamboo plant or the real one? I love the colors there and what to copy that with my bamboo plant too.
My plants die often and so I stopped buying them. But Mint is a survivor!

Such nice photos! I like to organize my place too before I take pics. Love those flower pots, especially the pink one and those containers of candy would not last long in my house, I`d eat them all up!
