It has been 2 months since I last bought clothes so it was refreshing and exhilarating to wear something new :) (my husband also bought me a dress last week so that doesn't count right? ) I only go to the mall if I need to grab something quick or buy gifts for friends now. I make a list and stick to it. I no longer receive emails that is related to shopping. I work right across the mall so I used to go during my lunch break ALL THE TIME! Now I use that time to work out at a nearby gym. Here are some questions I ask myself before I buy something: Will I be able to wear this item more then 5-10 times?  Is it work and play appropriate. I love dressing up for work but I don't want to spend money on an item that I can't wear outside of work. Do I really really really

Polka dots with stripes and shoes that doesn't match. I think he was going for color blocking trend :D I think next time I will just have to set K's clothes out for hubby. ha! Either way she is still adorable in her non matching clothes. At least Hubby did a good job with putting K's hair up in pigtails. I had such a wonderful birthday weekend! Thanks everyone for the sweet birthday wishes! 30 is old enough to be taken seriously, but you're not likely old enough to be jaded and burned out.

Adding a bright color on today's look book since it has been cloudy and rainy all week! I am still kind of bummed that I had to reschedule a bridal photoshoot over the weekend due to rain. I love using the Michael Kors travel tote as a diaper bag because it's big enough to fit all Kaylee's little knickknacks and plus it's has Kaylee's initial in it. M stands for her Vietnamese name Mỹ-Tiên { beautiful angel} and K for Kaylee, simply made for her. For the shoot I had to take some stuff out, normally the bag is heavy and full of toys and snacks! HM top F21 Pants Kate Spade Purse Hope you are having a great week so far. I just got back from California after being away for 4 days to be a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding. 4 days without Kaylee! It was nice to get away with some friends  and eat authentic Vietnamese food but it was really hard being away from my baby girl. The sad part is that I don't think she misses me one bit :( She had fun staying home with daddy. I am back at work running on less then 5 hours of sleep, (I was stuck in Detroit for more then 5 hours yesterday!) Hopefully today will go quick so I can go home and squeeze my baby girl. Happy Wednesday! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I just want to share with everyone my new love. My first maxi dress purchased this summer. I been looking all summer for a comfortable maxi dress that I can run around without worry about the cut being too low. This dress is perfect for running errands or chasing Kaylee at the park. It's floaty, it's comfortable and it's from Anthropologie! For $15 on sale, I couldn't resist! Here are some more affordable chevron dress that I found online. New lookbook featuring my new Zara blazer! 2 lookbooks in one week? go me! Blazer Zara Pants Arden B Necklace/Earrings/Bracelets: Francesca's Collections Tank HM I hardly wear dress pants to work anymore so it's nice to dress up once in awhile. I really love this new blazer that I bought from Zara last week when I was in Georgetown. The color is nice and bright and looks great with a simple outfit such as my black pants and HM tank. I hope you had a wonderful long Memorial Weekend! My girlfriend and I took a spontaneous adventure to DC and had such a wonderful time chit chatting and pigging out! hmm Korean and Vietnamese food!!!! It was my very first time leaving the husband, dogs, and Kaylee behind to go out of town for a day, I feel so guilty saying this but it was so nice to get away from changing diapers, laundry, cleaning and cooking!!! HM is having a 35% off one item till Sunday, I bought few items last week and can't wait to do lookbook on all of them.
