This girl right here always put a smile on my face each day. I seriously have the most happiest baby ever! Even when she was sick with a fever and had Roseola How Do I look? "I don't understand why it's so funny, do you?"  Love the kindness in her soft face and eyes.  Kaylee's first birthday party is about 2 weeks away and I am already feeling a bit overwhelmed! Who knew a 1 year old party can be so much work, but I am totally enjoying every moment of it! I am truly blessed to have so many people involved and wanting to help out with her party. After 2 years of growing out my hair, I finally got a haircut. A lot of layers and bangs!  I bought my first colored jeans over the weekend at HM using the 20% off any item. I ended up only paying around $16! Next color on the lis :: a mint color. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! Hubby and I don't normally do anything big for V-day. We are going to celebrate it with our baby girl tonight by showering her with lots and lots of love! I am so embarrassed to show the before picture of the bookcase. It was  such a mess and so glad we finally got around to give it a makeover!  I pretty much shoved everything in there so here's the before picture. Husband putting it all together and he got a personal assistant to help him! Color blocking is such a foreign language to me but definitely a trend of bold statement that I am slowly embracing. It's easier for me to pull off analogous color schemes in outfits since the use of colors are more pleasing to the eye and more harmonious. Maybe one day I'll be brave to work around with complementary colors and build an outfit of around it. Are you a fan of color blocking? Banana jacket from Hubby 8 years ago when we dated. Black jacket is simply just elegant and classic in my book. Still loving it today.  I don't think these boots goes well with this outfit, oh well, nothing wrong with experimenting ;) When Kaylee was about 5-6 Months, I lost a lot of hair! I was shredding so much I thought something was wrong me, to find out that it's normal to shred after having a baby. Whew! In need to find a stylish by the end of this month! I have the sweetest dogs ever! (2 long coat chihuahuas, 1 yorkie) Meet this little guy Jet, short for Jet Li (no he doesnt know kung fu..yet) yes he has a bow on his hair and he's ok with it because it makes his human sister happy. For those who do celebrate the Chinese/Vietnamese New Year, Happy New Year (Chúc Mừng Năm Mới, Kung Hei Fat Choy) I have been cleaning for the past few days so that we will have good fortune and health for the upcoming year! We are not allow to clean or do laundry on the day of or else the whole year will come with misfortunes and hardships. Asians are so superstitious, we try to avoid things so badluck does not find us and we follow it greatly around the Lunar New Year. :D Over the weekend, we welcome the year of the Dragon with good tradition food and surrounded ourselves with close friends.
