September has been such a crazy busy month but I just want stop in real quick to share with you some of my photography work I did.  I had the honor of shooting our friend's engagement and bridal shoot and so excited to finally show off the photos. The wedding was yesterday but we took the bridal shoot couple weeks ago so they can have photos to display at their wedding reception. I'll post up some photos of us attending the wedding later this week. K got to wear her beautiful traditional Vietnamese ao dai for the morning ceremony. K and I have matching outfits for the reception :D haha! If you follow me on instagram ( simplyvonne9 ) you might already seen K in her cute ao dai. I recently open up a Facebook page so I can show off some of my photography work. I have about 4 likes right now. haha! so...I would love your support!!!  I haven't been advertising it since I don't have much on there just yet.  Have a great Monday!

Blissful Beach Day

Image
1/4000 sec at f/ 2.0 ISO 400 (had to turn up the ISO bc we were in the shades) All photos in the sun shot at 1/4000 sec at f/ 2.0 ISO 100 I took last Friday off to relax with the family, we decided to head to the beach since Kaylee can't get enough of the sand. I love how peaceful the beach is at this time of year. The sun was luminous and bright with a nice cool ocean breeze. Not too hot, simply perfect fall weather. The tourist season is over so we felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Hope you are having a great week so far!

Dress:: HM (old)   Sunglasses:: Urban Outfitters  Shoes:: Nine West Kaylee's lookbook:  Hello Kitty dress with non-matching shoes. Hubby took over dressing K last week and he failed. Polka dots with stripes and shoes that doesn't match. I think he was going for color blocking trend :D I think next time I will just have to set K's clothes out for hubby. ha! Either way she is still adorable in her non matching clothes. At least Hubby did a good job with putting K's hair up in pigtails. I had such a wonderful birthday weekend! Thanks everyone for the sweet birthday wishes! 30 is old enough to be taken seriously, but you're not likely old enough to be jaded and burned out.

The Number 9

Simple anniversary dinner with hubby and our sweet girl. Wearing my old old HM dress since I am still on shopping ban (about a month now and been doing very well) We didn't do anything fancy just simply enjoying each others company over sushi and desert.  I can't get over how cute Kaylee's cowgirl boots are! Target has the most adorable kids clothes and shoes! Dinner is not complete without some frozen yogurt!  9 random things about the number 9 1. Husband and I met in 9/30/2003 2. Husband's Birthday is 9/30 3. My birthday is 9/14 4. We had our reception on 9/12/2009 5. We signed our marriage certificate on 9/09/09 6. Kaylee was born in room 9 (we didn't request it, just happen that way) 7. Kaylee was born at 9:20AM 8. Kaylee was 19 inches when born (well there's a 9 in there lol) 9. We have been together for 9 years I am off to celebrate my birthday weekend with  awesome people in my life! Thank you for all the sweet

3 wonderful years

A friend once said we won't last longer then 6 months because long distance relationship doesn't last.  9 years and a beautiful baby girl later, we still make a pretty good team. Things are not always perfect but we learn to communicate and respect one another. Life would be silly and boring if everything was perfect.  Each day we face new challenges and obstacles and the key is finding that one person to be in the same team as you. I am lucky girl to have such a wonderful man to be in the same team as me and to help me raise an amazing beautiful little girl. Back in college years Vegas 2010 Summer 2010 Wedding Day 9.12.09

soaking up the sun

Right by our house there's a little deserted spot with nothing but grass, trees and well..mosquitoes (I didnt know about the mosquitoes until later) . Kaylee and I took a nice little stroll there with my camera and tripod to do a fun shoot with just the two of us. Since Fall is slowing approaching upon us, we are trying to enjoy every last minute soaking up the sun before we trade in our sandals for fall boots. I hardly ever use my  tripod  but it's definitely put in good use whenever hubby is away to take photos of K and I. I got mine from amazon last year.  Hope you had a beautiful weekend, we did absolutely nothing over the weekend and that was amazing!   It's so nice to relax and not have anything on the agenda. Looking forward to short week since I am taking Friday off to enjoy my last day in my twenties :) Have a great Monday!
