Oh Happy Day!

Image
From Mother's Day Weekend: I got to spend Mothers Day with my two favorite people. Just a simple Sunday afternoon playing in the sun and it was perfection. Love watching Kaylee being overly excited over boat watching and dancing around in her cowgirl boots. Such a privilege to be a mother and share it with so many awesome women. "Life is just a series of everyday moments.  Hug your kids.  Now.  Go breathe them in.  They will only love legos, and dress up in tutus for so long.   So be their tea party partner.  Wear a cape.  Tickle them until neither of you can laugh anymore." Karen Stott Have a beautiful week!

The Sweetest Kiss

Being a mother to Kaylee is definitely a blessing and is also an honor these past 14 months. She is not only the sweetest but also a pretty easy going baby. We are truly blessed to have her in our life. I have to admit that the first year was tough for me, but mostly because I was learning how to be a mother and trying to figure out what each cry meant.  Thank god I have an amazing husband that also shares the responsibility of taking care of our daughter and being there for us through the ups and downs. All I want for Mother's Day was spending time with my loves, but hubby did give me the new ipad which is also very nice. Kaylee trying frozen yogurt for the first time, she didn't hate it but also didn't love it either.

I was bawling like a baby but luckily no one was around. Letter from a Mother to a Daughter: "My dear girl, the day you see I’m getting old, I ask you to please be patient, but most of all, try to understand what I’m going through. If when we talk, I repeat the same thing a thousand times, don’t interrupt to say: “You said the same thing a minute ago”... Just listen, please. Try to remember the times when you were little and I would read the same story night after night until you would fall asleep. When I don’t want to take a bath, don’t be mad and don’t embarrass me. Remember when I had to run after you making excuses and trying to get you to take a shower when you were just a girl? When you see how ignorant I am when it comes to new technology, give me the time to learn and don’
