My father was taken away from our family to a concentration camp where he was tortured and punished by the communist during the Vietnam War. Since my father scarified for his country we had the opportunity to go overseas and start a new life in America, the land of new opportunities. My oldest sister was left behind with her family in Vietnam and was not able to start a new journey with the rest of our family because her husband and children were not allowed to come. My parents envisioned a new beginning and to achieve a life that they have always dreamt of. In 2008, our family was reunited again. Different picture wall display that I am loving at the moment. Homemade Almond Macrons my friend made, I helped ;) It was delish! I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled on Wednesday so I didn't feel like doing anything out of the ordinary over the weekend. We spent our Sunday enjoying the beautiful warm weather at our friend's house. Our weekend was simply filled with soaking up in the sun at the beach, park, and enjoying each others company. Last week we had our first holiday family shoot. It was a chilly beautiful day, the husband was terribly sick but managed to smile in the photos. Our friend played photographer  and she did an amazing job! Will be using them for our christmas card this year! We also did a mini photoshoot for Kaylee and will be posting them up soon too! Happy holidays from our family to yours! This year I joined the Cold Hands, Warm Heart Swap hosted by Much Love, Illy and Sandy A La Mode . My swap partner was Jess from Pretty Physicist . She got me blue gloves, scarf and necklace to match with my teal Jacket! Thanks so much Jess! Love them!
