Over the weekend, my husband and I took part of the 5th Annual CHKD RunWalk for the kids in Norfolk, Virginia. There were more then 3,500 participants and it was a great feeling to be part of. A month ago I didn't think I could run a mile and the though of running 5 miles was insane but I am proud to say, thanks to my wonderful running partner, Diane, we made it under 1 hour and beat my husband's score! Sometimes you look into the mirror and you tell yourself..hmm I want to try something new with my hair. Well I did it, every since I got married back in September, I have been wanting to cut my hair really short but was afraid to do so. All I can say is that I wish I can take that Thursday night back and kept my long hair. It is so much harder to style short hair then long hair.
