Weekend with Irene
(btw sorry these photos were taken by my iphone so not the greatest quality..but will do:)
Rocking my diaper bag lol
Gotta make sure we have enough dog food for our three lil babies!
All we did on Saturday was staying in and watching the news, hoping and praying that Irene won't put too much damages in our community.
Hubby placed the airbed in the living room so that we can be in one room in case the power goes out.
(back to reg camera)
She is such a daddy's lil girl. Her eyes sparkles every time she's with him.
Watching the weather channel..looking pretty serious!
I survived my first hurricane in the East Coast. Luckily there were no damages in our neighborhood and we had no power for only 1 night. Actually the only damage was gaining few pounds from eating way too much on Saturday because I was so nervous about the storm! Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone effected by the storm. Thanks everyone for thinking of us over the weekend.
Good to hear your family is safe! Kaylee is such a cutie as always.
ReplyDeleteLol if the worst was gaining a few pounds, then we had it pretty good ;) I was pretty lucky with no damages, no flooding (that I can see), and no power outages. When Sunday rolled around, I couldn't believe the 180 from the last 24 hrs. Now I've got leftover ramen, deli meat, and canned goods, haha. I never did understand why bottle water was such a hot commodity? We had plenty of juice and we figured that would be fine.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you and your fam were safe!
i'm glad to hear that your family is doing alright. this hurricane definitely got the best of other families, but i'm also glad to hear that you were only affected by one night of no power.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear all is well with your family. Can't imagine how much worst it would be if it turned out to be cats 2 or higher. Big laugh at your damage..haha. Won't blame ya about the stress, my first experience was like hell when we evacuated and had to spend 22 freaking hours in a car (with two cats) in the worst traffic ever to a place where normally takes 3 hours!! Thought the hurricane would catch up with us. Gas was running low, still long way to go so much stress. Looking back, I was glad we didn't have a baby at that time.
ReplyDeleteso glad you all survived and kaylee survived her first and hopefully last!!!
