My Happy Book Worm

This little munchkin is going be a book worm when she's older! She loves her books!

Wait mommy, this is my favorite part.

Ahhh...If only she is this happy at sleeping time! I am having such a hard time putting her to sleep in her own crib. Our fault for letting her sleep in our bed since day 1 and now we are paying the price. It sure doesn't help that she's teething so she can be pretty fussy (notice the fingers in her mouth nom nom nom)

(Happy Birthday Ti and Dinh) I know you check my blog daily to see if there's any new photos of Kaylee;) Here is a virtual hug from Kaylee!

  2. ooh.... I wanna kidnap Kaylee right now! Better lock her up from me... hehehe. It's great to start her young on books. She looks really happy. I hope she would become a voracious reader just that mommy would have to spend a lot on books. Hope she gets used to her crib soon.

  7. our baby slept in the crib without any fuss till she was 1 yr old. And then she fell sick, hardly slept through the night. Thats when we made the biggest mistake of letting her sleep with us!! She still sleeps with us now :(

Love all the pics! She is soo adorable!

  9. Not only is she adorable, she's going to be super smart too! We just slowly started introducing books to Matthew, but instead of 'reading' them, he wants to eat them! Everything goes in his mouth now!

I hope you can get Kayle adjusted to her crib soon. That'll make everyone happy!

  10. Don't feel bad, Yvonne! My girl is 6 years old and she is still having a hard time sleeping in her own room. She sleeps in the same room with us 3,4 days a week. We have a day bed in our room and that's where she sleeps most of the time =) Now we know what to do with the 2nd one LOL

  11. How do you get her to pose so adorably...when she was wearing sunglass she did a diva face, now she's reading a book with a look of concentration on her face- such a natural model. Your photos always make me smile :)

  12. She is too adorable and such a happy baby. Yea, we had the same problem with my daughter. And it doesn't help since we're still living with my in-laws until my hunny is through with college next spring that our daughter will be sleeping in our bed until then. She does have her own bed in our room but she doesn't sleep in it. She manages to crawl in our bed late at night.

  13. You always have the best pictures of your daughter and well updated too! She's so precious!

I never let Ryu sleep in my bed since day 1. I wanted to make sure that he knew which was his bed. I let him sleep next to me during the daytime when he was younger, but that was it. Since then Ryu hasn't had a problem sleeping anywhere. I'm not sure if it's true that once a kid sleeps in the bed with you it becomes difficult. I think that it's just them learning to be comfortable in their own bed. I'm sure she'll adjust. :)

  14. Her smile is contagious!!!! These photos of little K are way too adorable, is there such thing? I hate teething, that was the worst nightmare for our family and it wrecked havoc my sleep patterns ever since my little one was 4 months old up until about 30 months. It was the most frustrating time for us since she seemed to have a really hard time everytime new tooth came in. Omg, I can write a chronicle on this. She is finally done with teething, THANK GOD.

My daughter is 32 months old now and she still sleeps in the same room as me but in her own crib. I have a seperation anxiety issue lol.

  15. Hi Yvonne, you have a little model on your hands. I just love these pictures! We had challenges with our kids sleeping as well. Our oldest son co-slept with us till about 3 (yikes) and the little one we were hell bent on not doing that again so we actually hired a sleep doula to come and sleep train him since 6 months old. It took two nights and now both kids now go to bed at 8:15 and hubby and i have the whole evening to ourselves now. Thank god :) I have to admit that I loved co-sleeping with m first- it's such a bonding experience, huh? Thanks for the post!
