Corners Of Our Home
I have a minor confession to make, I tend to organize my house if I know I am going to take photos for my blog. I need to do this more often so I am more motivated to clean up! Another confession is that I am a horrible gardener! Let see how long our basil and our mint plants will survive.
I hope you are having a great week so far. Busy week for me and I am so glad that we are halfway through the week!
Your space is so warm and comforting to look at. I would love to live in it as well ;) Everything looks fun (especially the jars of colourful candy!).
ReplyDeleteI wish I had the patience with plants - they're definitely beautiful to look at but I can guarantee that they won't live for longer than two days in my house :P
One of the tricks for Basil is to keep clipping the flowers off. Once basil flowers, the taste degrades and the leaves shrink giving it a 'less lively' appearance and aroma.
ReplyDeleteYour home is beautiful. I love the candy jar idea. I might have to borrow it since I have a few apothecary jars I got as a wedding gift which hasn't been used yet.
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of candy. I can't find myself keeping a candy collection, I tend to gobble them up in an instant!
ReplyDeletei love your home! such a happy place!
ReplyDeleteLOL that's a great motivation! Your home is beautiful! I never tidy up for blog photos, but then again, I always have clutter in the background ;0. Happy Wed!!!
ReplyDeleteWell Yvonne -- I am no different but we tend to clean up before we have people over. Our house seriously is a mess and beyond repair. Your corner and home always look cozy and inviting.
ReplyDeleteI love having access to fresh herb, yours look good and striving. You make me want to start gardening this summer. I used to grow okra, squash, tomatoes and somea herbs before I got pregnant but never have time nor motivation to start again after that.
I want to live in your house, can I? It's such a cute space.
ReplyDeleteYour house is gorgeous! Love that chevron frame :)

You have a beautiful house and amazing taste in home decor.
ReplyDeleteYour house is so beautiful! Is that a fake orchid with the bamboo plant or the real one? I love the colors there and what to copy that with my bamboo plant too.
ReplyDeleteMy plants die often and so I stopped buying them. But Mint is a survivor!
JUst beautiful!! Maybe I should organize my apartment and post pics too on my blog often so that I can be motivated to do it all the time haha...maybe..Do you really have a candy spot?? THat's cool!! That would never last in my home
