Photography:: Alluring and Luminous
Melissa was a pleasure to shoot, a natural for one thing, but also open for suggestions and guidance. She traveled over 1,400 miles from Sioux Falls, SD, to visit my precious baby K, along with my younger sister Lena, so a photo shoot? I couldn't resist.
An avid fashion enthusiast, Melissa styled the shoot herself, sticking to romantic textures and bold color combinations. Her top was thrifted at a local shop for under two dollars; her skirt, Forever 21. Pulling the entire look together, beautifully and alluring.

i was lucky enough to get glimpses of the shoot on instagram. i think she is soooo gorgeous, and you captured her beauty perfectly. love what she is wearing... something i'd totally wear myself, and love her natural poses and espressions. :) great job, yvonne. you're such a talented woman. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's a natural for sure! What great weather and lovely lighting at the beach! I love the soft glow of the sun in the 2nd photo, the monochromatic with a touch of orange/yellow of the profile one, and again the soft glow of the photo below that. I love the sun flare in the photo below that! Oh, and the "who me" innocence of the one below that. Ok, guess I just talked about most of them ;). Great shoot and way to take advantage of the situation! You used your 50mm for these? I have much to learn! Do you do any post-edits with like CS or anything?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning Yvonne! You're very talented.
