Ao Dai and Wedding Outfits

Over the weekend, we attended our friend's traditional Vietnamese wedding and I was very excited for Kaylee to wear her ao dai. I can not get enough how adorable she look in her Vietnamese traditional dress!

I made her hair piece the day before the wedding since I couldn't find any of her yellow bows. She did well and wore it throughout the ceremony!


This expression warms my heart. She saw a squirrel on the rooftop and she was so excited! haha!





I bought my ao dai in CA while I was there for a wedding a month ago and I love the simple look and the pink/blue contrast


K's outfit for wedding reception. Cute black dress with a pop of red. She stole the purse from a friend  haha! Look at the way she is holding her purse!
I have to admit that she is a happy baby! She has her moments but overall were soooo lucky that she's always smiling!
I had to make sure that I matched with my little fashionista.
Loved the wedding favor!

    Aw just adorable. Love her traditional outfit. The Pakistani traditional outfit that we wear are so similar to your 'ao dai'. So beautiful that you all stay connected to your own culture too. Kaylee will grow up with the best of both worlds. It'll be beautiful. I was just wondering, do you all speak a second language too?

    Oh my, both of your dresses and her dresses are just divine. Little K is super cute in that yellow dress and her night look is quite sophisticated! She holds a purse like a pro too. Hiw fun both if you had matching outfits, too cute for words.

    Um, Kaylee is adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love her open-mouth, hand on tummy expression!!!!!!!! Yay for squirrels! Haha. And how cute is her hair piece and little black dress!! Even an outfit change for the wedding? Serious business! You looked so beautiful in your traditional and modern outfits. Love the matching lace! Oh, and glad she did good through the wedding.     I got my ao dai from OC in the asian mall (Phuoc Loc Tho) I can't remember the name of the store but it's in the back. I believe it was around $80 and you can get it fitted for free with them.
