The sun, luminous and alluring, created the perfect lighting. Her relaxed waves and long, billowy skirt were perfectly tuned; romantic blissfulness. Brilliant color blocking- radiant blush and soft, demure turquoise- captured the rapturing sunset and illuminated her kind features. Beautiful photo shoot. Melissa was a pleasure to shoot, a natural for one thing, but also open for suggestions and guidance. She traveled over 1,400 miles from Sioux Falls, SD, to visit my precious baby K, along with my younger sister Lena, so a photo shoot? I couldn't resist. An avid fashion enthusiast, Melissa styled the shoot herself, sticking to romantic textures and bold color combinations. Her top was thrifted at a local shop for under two dollars; her skirt, Forever 21. Pulling the entire look together, beautifully and alluring.

Little Miss K is walking like a boss now, constantly on the go and we have to be more watchful than ever to keep her from bumping into things. She is starting to throw some tantrums but I guess tantrums are inevitable for a 15 months baby? Her bedtime has been pretty consistent, in her crib by 9:30! Woo-Hoo! I love her so much but I also love it when she's sleeping peacefully in her crib. We met up with a college friend of mine last weekend at the beach and we were able to see Miranda Lambert in concert through the balcony. Too bad I was too busy chasing after Kaylee, she can not sit still!!! My friend's baby is only 8 months and she is too adorable for words!!! Kaylee can't stop touching her small cute fingers. Busy busy week for me, my sister and her friend are in town so I'll be busy showing them around. It would be great if I can get rid of this cold I am having too! Happy Thursday!

Blazer Zara Pants Arden B Necklace/Earrings/Bracelets: Francesca's Collections Tank HM I hardly wear dress pants to work anymore so it's nice to dress up once in awhile. I really love this new blazer that I bought from Zara last week when I was in Georgetown. The color is nice and bright and looks great with a simple outfit such as my black pants and HM tank. It has been raining all day today,  looking through these photos surely put a smile on my face. We took Kaylee to a park couple weeks ago and she couldn't get enough of the kids and playground. She was all smiles and so friendly toward the kids, this mama is definitely proud! The stinker is such a little model, she definitely know how to work the camera! How sexy is her back ;) Don't let these photos fool you, yes although Kaylee is a sweet girl but there are days where I am exhausted, tired and think that I am not a good mother. I am learning each day and my goal in life is to be the best mom to my daughter. In all honestly, Kaylee has been pretty simple baby so I really can't imagine how other mothers, especially single mothers does it. I have so much respect for them! I hope you had a wonderful long Memorial Weekend! My girlfriend and I took a spontaneous adventure to DC and had such a wonderful time chit chatting and pigging out! hmm Korean and Vietnamese food!!!! It was my very first time leaving the husband, dogs, and Kaylee behind to go out of town for a day, I feel so guilty saying this but it was so nice to get away from changing diapers, laundry, cleaning and cooking!!! Oh and I went to Zara in Georgetown for the first time and couldn't get enough of their clothes! Cant wait to share what I bought there! Happy Tuesday! Last week to enter for eShakti giveaway!
