source source source Glimpse of our simple master My goal this year is to make the bed EVERYDAY..yup everyday. ok maybe at least till March or April So far so good! After almost 3 years living at our house, hubby finally put up our picture taken back years back in D.C. Yankee candle Lemon Lavender is my ALL TIME favorite scent from there. Made a lil dog home in our room so our puppies can be in the same room as us { How often do you make your bed? I know it only take few minutes to do so but it's so hard make it look nice everyday! }

{ Nursery Prints }

Preview of some pieces I did for our nursery. To keep the consistency throughout the room, I use the same color scheme that we will be using for the nursery. So far we like the name Kaylee but we are not 100% sure if this is name we will be naming her just yet. Got about few more months to decide :) So far Hubby painted one wall in the nursery, I wish it was all done so I can start doing all the fun stuff with the room. Argh Im so impatient! lol BTW-When I was designing these, I was very inspired by Madebygirl and Penny People Designs prints. { Hope everyone had a great weekend, I had a 3 day weekend so It was kinda hard to get back to work this morning }

We also have 2 chandeliers decals hanging in our living space Visit our lil home tour here with before and after pictures! Yay for the weekend! Hubby and I are doing Richmond and D.C bound this weekend to do some Ikea shopping and relaxing before I can't travel much. I'll be 8 months pregnant tomorrow!! O_o

{ Inspiring Spaces }

This week I have been overly obsessed with interior spaces, I wish I have more time in a day and also the energy (back pains are kicking in with 8 months pregnant) to revamp up some of our spaces in the house. Since we are currently decorating our nursery at the moment, I was so happy to came across this Nursery on CreamyLife's blog . What a brilliant idea to showcase your lil ones clothes as a decor! We are definitely picking up supplies this week to try to replicate this idea! Other examples to showcase baby clothes out in the open. LOVE it! This beautiful home is from same owner of the nursery, I just love all the white, modern spaces in their home. We have the same white eames chair! source Adore Magazine Tied with a Bouw

Hubby and I are renovating our guestroom into a nursery. The room was a mess and we pretty much threw everything that we didn't want to see in there. Honestly it didnt really look like a guestroom but more of storage space. Here is a pix of our guestroom when we first moved into our home. ick! We decided to donate the bed since we wont be needing it anymore and really dont have any where to put it. Look at the mess! Took us couple of hours to declutter and organize the room Looking a bit better but we still need to paint and adding few more items I heard that this lil Sophie Giraffe is a MUST have for all babies! We decided to stay away from the pink theme for the nursery, and go with more neutral colors. Hope baby Huynh doesnt mind Already getting some cute clothes for her arrival Stay tuned!

{ Sneak Peek Into My Work }

Image
My 2011 new year resolution is to finish up my portfolio website that I have been putting off for about 3 years now. I got started on it back then but never got around to develop the site. This year, instead of finishing up the old design, I thought it would be best to just start a new blank canvas and design something the defines who I am and what I do. Here is a lil sneak peak of the design, which has a very similar look and feel of the blog. Just for fun and giggles, here is the old design Hopefully It will be up and running by the end of this month, I'll keep you posted!
