I am officially off the shopping ban. I did pretty well with not buying unnecessary items that I don't need these past few months.  Lately I am just been shopping for basic things; such as this J Crew vintage cotton T-shirt . They are on sale for $14.99 plus another 25% off on all clearance at the store. I love J Crew cotton shirt, the quality is so much better then F21 or HM. The pink shorts are just over $7 but a size 0. I hope I can lose some weight by next summer so I can fit into in a bit better haha! I love my J Crew café capri  in wool. I actually got it for $29.00 after 25% off due to a price mishap on their part.  :) Definitely a new favorite pant to wear all year long. My simple everyday work outfit. I love the outdoor in the Fall. Love that the leaves are now changing colors in Virginia and the weather is a lot cooler at night. Thanks for visiting!

Winery and Friends

The beautiful birthday girl We finished 4 bottles! (there were 7 of us) we were super happy right after! Lookbook:: Scarf: Urban Outfitters Pants: JCrew : Bag: MK Happy Monday!! Over this past weekend, I drove up to DC and celebrated my friend’s birthday. Hubby was so sweet and took care of Kaylee while this momma went on a mini vaca. We went to a cute little winery called Bull Run in Centerville, VA. The weather was absolutely beautiful and had light breezes throughout the day. We wine tasted and then ordered a few of bottles of wine to sip on while we were soaking up some sun. I had such a great time, a little bit too much fun since I was a bit tipsy after just 2 glasses! I am definitely a lightweight and a very inexperienced wine drinker! Have you been to a winery? It was my first time and I definitely want to go back again! I am really busy with different projects here and there which keeps me behind on blogging. Thanks for visiting and allowing me to share my

I don't always dress up in pretty little dresses. On weekends I am mostly in jeans and tee or something comfortable so I can chase my 19M old baby.  My hair is usually a mess and I don't always wear mascara or lipgloss. What I love about blogging and also my corporate job is it allows me to be creative with my clothes, play with jewelry and look presentable. Tee:: JCrew // Pants:: HM // Hat: F21 // Glasses: Urban Outfitters // Belt:: F21 // Shoes:: Nine West This is my reality. Chasing after an 19M baby and have to make sure she doesn't put anything in her mouth. It was an accident that hubby and I wore bright shirts on the same day :D  We both were to lazy to switch out ha!

19 Months and My Struggle with motherhood

In my heart this week: My baby, my child, my life, I don’t ever want my Kaylee to grow up. She is at the perfect stage in life right now where she is constantly learning something new each day. Purely innocent, I want to treasure it all. The other day I read an article  on Huffington Post about a 14 year old girl that was charged with first degree murder and aggravated child abuse. A life so innocent, the girl’s life has not even started yet, but closing to an end. She probably didn't have anyone to turn to and thought she could get away with hiding her pregnancy. My heart aches for the family. Today on the radio, the discussion was about birth control battle on a program that distributes Plan B contraception and birth control to high school girls. It got me very worried that one day I will have to have the talk with Kaylee. I am glad that I still have so many more wonderful years to spend with my baby girl. Each day I try to steer away from all the negative news, but sometimes
